Prime Engage Jr. Chess Championship – Terms & Conditions
- The tournament will be conducted on the scheduled date and timings announced for the respective city.
- Participants must report to the venue at least 30 minutes before the reporting time of their respective category.
- Registration fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- All participants must carry a valid School ID, Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, or any other government-issued photo ID for age verification.
- Participants may compete only in the age category for which they are eligible.
- The championship is open to children aged 6–16 years across the following categories: • Under 8 (U8) • Under 10 (U10) • Under 12 (U12) • Under 16 (U16)
- The tournament will be conducted in Rapid Format using the Swiss System.
- Winners and prize recipients will be determined based on the official tournament standings and tie-break rules.
- Trophies, medals, certificates, digital certificates, prizes, vouchers, and sponsor gifts (if any) will be awarded as per the announced prize structure for each city.
- All participants will receive participation medals and certificates upon successful completion of their tournament rounds.
- Eligible players may qualify for subsequent stages of the championship, including Zonal Rounds and the National Grand Finale, as per the qualification criteria announced by the organizers.
- The total championship prize pool exceeds ₹10,00,000 which includes rewards distributed in cash and merchandise across City Rounds, Zonal Rounds, and the National Finale.
- Participants are expected to maintain discipline and sportsmanlike conduct throughout the event.
- Any form of misconduct, cheating, unfair play, misrepresentation of age, or violation of tournament rules may result in immediate disqualification without refund.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify schedules, formats, venues, prize distribution, or other event-related aspects in case of unforeseen circumstances.
- Photography, videography, and media coverage may take place during the event. By registering, participants and their guardian’s consent to the use of event photographs and videos for promotional and marketing purposes.
- The decision of the tournament organizers and arbiters shall be final and binding on all participants.
- By registering for the championship, participants and their guardians agree to abide by all the above Terms & Conditions.
