Alongside the boards, the Nagpur round had a football match, a quiz and the Portronics “Hear Me Not” Challenge.
On 1 August, the Nagpur round of the Prime Engage Jr. Chess Championship brought 205 young players to Xplore Trampoline and Amusement Park. Chess was the main event, but it was not the only thing on offer. Alongside the tournament, the young participants took part in a football match, a quiz competition and the Portronics “Hear Me Not” Challenge. The extra activities kept children and parents entertained through the day and made the round a day out for the whole family, not just a tournament.
